Blue and pink were the only two colors availible. Their noses turn, their paws are rattles and squeekers, and their tummy is a heart-shaped mirror. They were intended for babies to play with.




"Maverick" (Unusual) Plushies
"Fun Time Friend" Bear (pink), Birthday's body with Tenderheart's stare (yellow), Cheer's stare on a strange teal body (teal), and 1991 Share's stare embroidered on a strange purple long-fur plushie like a 1995 Shopko Bear (purple).




Care Bear Wear
The Romper (worn by an eye-lid missing Bedtime I call the "Bedtime Bear on Caffiene") and the Swimsuit (worn by a Funshine Bear that one of my friends when I was seven years old tried to decapitate - I sewed Funshine's head back on). I can't seem to bare the idea of getting rid of these two plushies, so they are Care Bear Wear models now. :)




Treat Heart Pig Homemade Plushie
I made this Treat Heart Pig by reducing a pattern 25% (to make it 13" instead of 16"), and then sewing it with a sewing machine out of fancy felt and polar fleece. I did the tummy patch myself. Needless to say, it took me a long time and I like it (even if it doesn't really look like the actual pig).




The First Care Bear I Ever Had
This Bedtime Bear was my first Care Bear.

Twinkle Bears
Twinkle Bears' tummies light up when you press their tongues. In this picture, their tummies are glowing, but you can't see it very well because it's daytime. I think they look kind of like Care Bears, so I keep them with my collection. (I'm still looking for the pink one, though.)





Rainbow Brite Animals
Puppy Brite and Starlight are two of the three Rainbow Brite plush animals. (I'm missing Kitty Brite.) I've never been a doll collector, but I like Rainbow Brite's animal friends.
